This show at Mixed Blood is hilarious, and a fantastic ambassador for the Minnesota Fringe 2009. Starring Matt Rein as the patsy, “Matt”; Sam Landman as the riotous and bumbling hired assassin, “Parker”; Lindsay Marcy as the shell-shocked “Rachel” and Ian Miller as the perfect gangster, “Man of Few Words”; this show is an absolute must-see.
When “Matt” loses his best friend to the mistake of a group of assassins, he’s threatened with more personal bloodshed if he doesn’t join the team. The acting ensemble is superb, and the razor-sharp comedic timing of the supporting characters are in splendid relief to Matt Rein’s vanilla approach to the male ingenue.
Very fun, very intelligent, very Fringe. Put this one on your schedule.
